Recent Events
In August 2009, twelve 5th and 6th grade Maine teachers experienced Lobsters: Untold Tales, the brand new content for GMRI’s LabVenture! Program! They also did their very own Watershed Experience. Teachers interviewed lobstermen about the culture, issues, and methods of lobstering while out to sea on a lobstering trip. Check out the results of their experience.
In the News
Wiscasset Middle School’s 8th grade students started out their school year with an integrated, year-long study of the Sheepscot River. Led by teacher Sue Kistenmacher – a VitalVenture developer and Vital Signs participant – students have been sharing their learning experience with the community through the Wiscasset Newspaper.
